Imagine walking into a familiar building on campus and leaving in tears after being terrified by your peers-turned-undead. The Haunted Aud is just the place for that, and it is back for its seventh year with the theme, “The Underworld.” The festive, yet horrifying event was created by theater students and faculty to raise money for the Department of Theater. Last year alone, Haunted Aud raised more than $20,000 for organizations within the Department of Theater, according to senior theater major Christi Thibodeau. Six months of planning and prep work go into Haunted Aud, “but it’s totally worth it when you scare people to literal tears, which frequently happens,” said Thibodeau. What better way to get into the Halloween spirit than to be spooked by fellow Spartans? The Auditorium is located on the corner of Auditorium Road and Farm Lane.
