The calendar says that Halloween is a single event that takes place on Oct. 31. However, the holiday has become a multi-day affair among college students. A schedule full of parties typically requires an assortment of costumes. After all, Halloween only comes around once a year, and repeating an outfit night after night may be seen as a party foul. While it’s possible that a myriad of costumes could potentially break the bank, the secret to stretching your dollars is finding a way to get the most out of your Halloween ensemble. Here’s how to create six unique looks out of a basic white dress just by swapping out your accessories.
Angel: You will need a halo and pair of wings.
Goddess: You will need gold jewelry, gladiator sandals and a strand of ivy for a headpiece.
Starbucks cup: You will need the Starbucks logo, which may be printed out and lightly fastened to your dress.
Tooth Fairy: You will need a pair of wings (reusable from your angel costume!) and a tooth, which may be printed and lightly fastened to your dress.
Marilyn Monroe: You will need a pair of white gloves, red pumps and red lipstick.
Twister: You will need multi colored dots, which may be printed out and lightly fastened to your dress.
