The Seven Week Stretch – And What To Do With It

Spread the love

There are only seven weeks until this spring semester comes to an end. At this very moment, you might be asking yourself, “Where did the time go?” With less than two months before this school year comes a close, we came up with a handful of things to do before the semester wraps up.

  1. Go to the Broad Art Museum on campus

A big plus is that it’s free for students. It has something for everyone,
     with close to a million objects and specimens. The museum is open Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. – 5pm.

  2. Go to a MSU baseball game

Most students have been to a Michigan State basketball or football game before, but have you been to a baseball game? Sparty is often there cheering on the team with the crowd and posing for photos. Baseball games are a greatway to take a study break and get outside to enjoy the springtime weather. MSU is up against Rutgers University in
three games this weekend (find more game information here).BeaumontTower

  3. Tour Beaumont Tower

You can tour Beaumont Tower on Tuesdays at noon during the school year. Make your way up the steps of the tower to get an extra special view of campus.

  4. Take a walk through the Beal Botanical Gardens

Wait until the weather is warmer with a couple weeks left of classes and enjoy. The Beal Botanical Gardens are a beautiful, must-see on campus.

  5. Eat ice cream at the MSU Dairy Store

If you’ve already had their ice cream, try their grilled cheese sandwich! Or just use this as an excuse to simply go there and treat yourself. The MSU Dairy Store is delicious and with a short amount of time left in the semester, make sure to get your fix.
