Fall Date Ideas

Spread the love

Autumn is debatably the best season in the Midwest. The leaves are brilliant colors, the air is crisp and it’s football (tailgate) season. It’s also the perfect time to go on dates! Whether it’s with your significant other or friends, check out these fall date ideas.

Uncle John’s Cider Mill: Cider Mills are the perfect fall date idea. You can pick apples or pumpkins, you can get cider and donuts, and at Uncle John’s you can also get alcoholic beverages. Uncle John’s has a Fruit House Cidery and Winery Tasting Room where they offer wines and hard cider.

Haunted Houses and Corn Mazes: Need an excuse to hold your dates hand? Head to a haunted house or a haunted corn maze! There are several within a half hour drive, check out the list of haunted attractions in mid-Michigan here! Some of the locations offer normal corn mazes for people like me who are faint of heart.

You could make an effort to go to the same spot once a week to witness the changing colors or head to one of these locations during peak season!

Brewery Tour: Head to a local brewery to taste their fall selection of beers! Here is a list of the breweries in the area.

Carve Pumpkins: Carving pumpkins is a classic fall activity. You can even turn the seeds into a delicious snack! Want to make a Michigan State jack-o-lantern? Michigan State’s Alumni Association made these stencils for you!

Football Game: What better way to spend a game day than with your sweetie? Tailgate, watch some football and warm up with some hot cocoa!

Farm to Table: Fall is the perfect time to head to a farm to table type restaurant. Taste the foods of the season at these local food based spots!
