The Haunting of Hill House

If you’re in the mood for something chilling that will keep you on the edge of your seat then this is the perfect show for you. This show flashes between the present and past of a mangled family. It takes you back to the haunting memories they experienced in their old home and the horrifying events that drove them away. Starring Michael Huisman, Carla Gugino, Timothy Hutton and many more. Make sure to cozy up on the couch with a bunch of friends because this is not a show you want to watch alone.

If you’re a “Black Mirror” fanatic like me, then this is definitely a show you want to watch. Starring big actors Emma Stone, Jonah Hill and Justin Theroux, this twisted drama takes you through the lives of two strangers who are drawn to a pharmaceutical trial — supposedly with no complications or side-effects — but things do not go as planned.

Queer Eye

If you’re looking for a show to get you in your feels then this is a must watch. It introduces the new Fab Five and communities around Atlanta. These experts form relationships with men and women to give them a lifestyle makeover. Each of the five specializes in a different area and changes the lives of individuals in a heartfelt and emotional way. Starring Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness.

To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

This coming-of-age romantic comedy has you hooked from the very start. This movie follows Lara Jean and the one moment that changed her life forever. When love letters she wrote to her five crushes mysteriously get mailed out her life turns upside down. Get ready for those happy tears and a lot of, “Omg this is so cute.” Starring new actors Lana Condor, Noah Centineo and Janel Parrish.

Like Father

After she is left at the altar, a workaholic goes on her Carribean honeymoon with the last person she expected: her father. Starting the trip as strangers, they soon start to see the appreciation of family. If you’re in the mood for a lighthearted and family comedy then this is for you. Starring Kristen Bell, Kelsey Grammer and Seth Rogen.

22 July

This dramatic thriller is based on a true story and takes you through devastating terrorist attacks in Norway. It specifically tackles one attack in which an extremist murdered 77 teens at a youth camp. This movie takes you through the lives of a young survivor and grieving families in their time of healing.
